Kenji Shiratori (Hayato Isomura) works as a lawyer for a small law firm. He has loved to look up to stars since he was a child and is a sensitive person. Since an early age, his unique sensibility has allowed him to sense colors or smell from letters and sounds. He has also had trouble fitting in with groups. Because of all of these factors, he has had a fear and distrust of schools and he stopped attending school. One day at his job, he is suddenly dispatched as a school lawyer to a high school where Teacher Suzu Koda (Mayu Hotta) and Chairperson Misao Ozaki (Goro Inagaki) work. Kenji Shiratori is comfortable dealing with the black and white issues of the law, but working as a school lawyer forces him to step out of his comfort zone as he deals with the gray area worries of the students, teachers, and parents.
