Synopsis
The story centers at “News Gate”, a news program that has been broadcasting on commercial TV station JBN for the past 40 years, but is currently suffering from low viewer ratings. To save the news program, the chairman of JBN recruited Shindo Soichi to become the main caster. Started his career as a reporter, Shindo Soichi is a man who does not care about rules and uses his own methods to conduct interviews and investigations to find the “truth”. Sakikubo Hana is a variety hit maker and has been selected to be the news program’s general director to leverage the program’s success. Meanwhile, Motohashi Yusuke is an assistant director who has studied abroad to be a journalist. The story will continue showing how the relationship among the three change as they grow as a team, and how they eventually pursue the truth behind a certain incident.
